I am guided by the belief that we learn and teach others everyday as we live our lives. However, if we are intentional in our teaching and learning practices, then we are truly going to transform our lives for the better each day while helping others do the same.

I am the daughter of Dominican immigrants, born and raised in The Bronx, New York. I was able to excel because of the support of an amazing family, access to a good education system, and the support and knowledge provided by friends and colleagues whom I’ve met along my personal and professional journey.

I created Coffee and an Interview as a free, open platform where anyone can access insights from experts across a wide range of fields. It’s a space designed to spark new ideas, offer practical tools, and inspire people to think more intentionally about their goals, growth, and opportunities.

I know firsthand how powerful that access can be, and this podcast is my way of opening that door through the success stories, advice, and expertise my guests generously share.

As an entrepreneur, I carry this mission into my broader work through my companies like Empowerment Through Education (ETE) and Jacqueline Pena Consulting, my personal brand where I publish my writing and offer strategic consulting services.
